A workshop was held at the Methodology Department

of School of Preschool Education, MNUE.

With the support of the Van Lier Foundation and the International Step by Step Association, the Mongolian Education Alliance, NGO, translates the articles from the journal “Early Childhood Matters” into Mongolian. It makes them available to the public through the “Open School” newspaper and its website. At the workshop, B. Batjargal, the director of the Mongolian Education Alliance, presented the above-translated articles to the professors of the School of Preschool Education, MNUE, and exchanged opinions on integrating the articles into the program. The value of this translation work lies in the fact that it has become an electronic learning tool that can be used as the best experience. The professors appreciated this work and emphasized that it was a work that broadened the scope of the students’ reading material and implemented it in their lessons and activities. The teachers proposed to choose articles to be translated in the future and discussed the possibility of further cooperation. MEA and SPE have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, and within this framework, the following four areas of work are being carried out. It includes:

- Teacher development

- Program improvement

- Student development

- Learning environment and materials

In the framework of the above direction, teaching and learning, student academic meetings, and other activities are jointly organized, and mutual experience is exchanged.
