Beyond coursework, the department develops guidelines for teacher education practicum components—namely the “Observation Practicum” and “Teaching Practicum”—and prepares students for their field placements.
Since the 2017–2018 academic year, the Teaching Practicum has been conducted in collaboration with partner institutions abroad, including universities in Erenhot, China, and Irkutsk, Russia, which specialize in preschool teacher education. This international collaboration highlights the program’s strengths by providing high-achieving students with opportunities to complete their practicum in diverse educational settings.
