Seminar on Early Childhood Development Assessment

           

On April 22, 2026, the Department of Preschool Pedagogy and Psychology organized a seminar entitled “Issues in Assessing Early Childhood Development” in both in-person and online formats.

The seminar aimed to deepen understanding of theoretical and methodological approaches to assessing early childhood development, explore international experiences, and improve the quality of research and teaching.

Key presentations included:

  • Dr. Kenji Nomura (Nagoya University, Japan): “Assessment of Five-Year-Old Children’s Development: Japanese Experience”
  • Dr. D. Odgerel (MNUE): “Assessment of Child Development”

The seminar attracted broad participation from faculty, researchers, graduate students, and preschool education practitioners. It provided a valuable platform for professional dialogue, knowledge exchange, and strengthening research capacity in early childhood education.
